We weren’t exactly millionaires, but Hank no longer needed that slime ball Dave Richter’s money or anyone else’s for that matter. He was able to pump the majority of the money into his new business, and we made a huge profit off of that mall expansion!

Not only was my husband handsome, loyal and heroic, he was also smart!

With the rest of the money, he paid off the mortgage on our house in Cedar Rapids and installed a very expensive security system to keep me safe and sound in our home!

At Hank’s insistence and to my relief, we changed bedrooms in the house and now used the bedroom where Dirk had tried to rape me as a junk and storage room. Hank had told me that he didn’t want our marriage bed to be in the same room where that violent act almost took place.

God, I loved this man!

The rest of the money went into the bank, but a couple of thousand went toward a second more extensive honeymoon to the gay-friendly destination of Key West, Florida.
